KUALA LUMPUR- AmBank Group is working closely with the police in the investigations into the brutal murder of one of its employee by a security guard engaged by the bank in USJ SubangJaya yesterday.

 

“On behalf of the AmBank Group, we would like to offer our deepest condolences, our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Norazita Abu Talib at this very difficult moment” said Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Chairman of AmBank Group in a press statement released earlier today.

 

“The Group is working closely with the police in the investigations on this incident and is rendering all necessary assistance to the family member of the deceased” 

 

Norazita, 37, was shot in the face with a pump-gun during the 6.20 incident.

 

The report stated that the victim was opening the door to the vault when she was shot.

 

The victim who was a mother of two had been working for the company for 16 years.

 

Meanwhile, a 32-second video recording of the incident went viral on the internet today.

 

It depicts the victim Norazita in a red baju kurung with one of her colleagues who had just opened the vault. She fell a short while after the shot is fired from a distance behind the CCTV camera in the bank.

 

The victim’s colleagues froze in trauma and seconds later, a security guard with the pump-gun dragged the victim's colleague away from the vault. Shortly afterwards he was seen scooping an unspecified amount of cash from the strongroom and walked away.
