Anwar's Chief Minister offer

Among the promises made ​​by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to Datuk Lajim which led him to step down from his federal government and party’s post was the offer of Chief Minister post in Sabah.

This is not the first time Lajim was offered the same position from Anwar. Lajim has previously served as Deputy Chief Minister. When Anwar set the crossover among PBS leaders to overthrow the party in 1994, Lajim was also offered the same post.

Lajim is still using the wait and see approach. He has yet to trust Anwar completely. There is still a possibility for him to pull the act similar to Nasaruddin in Bota.
