Khalid Samad: Hasan Ali is a liar

Both Khalid and Hasan are accusing each other.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pas Selangor deputy commissioner Khalid Samad says Datuk Dr Hasan Ali is a blatant liar.

Speaking to The Mole Khalid said Hasan had been accusing him as a parasite in Pas ever since he refused to support to the former Selangor state executive councillor to become Mentri Besar of Selangor.

Khalid said since after he told Hasan that Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim was best suited to be the Mentri Besar, Hasan has been going against him and labelled him as the parasite in Pas.

Thus, Khalid said he was neither surprised nor shocked when his name was mentioned as one of the parasites in Pas by Hasan.

A blog posting in Minda Intelek Melayu wrote that Hasan had named Khalid as the main parasite in his road show in Shah Alam.

Hasan said that Khalid was against his attempt to stop the sale of alcoholic drinks in Malay dominated areas. Hassan also accused Khalid of defending the Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC) in the recent controversy on the proselytisation of Muslims.

Khalid was also asked on Hasan’s call to Shah Alam voters to reject him as the Member of Parliament there.

“This is a clear proof of treachery to Pas, only a rival party will encourage voters to not vote for a contester from another party,” he said.

Khalid also said that he will be calling for a press conference soon to refute Hasan’s allegations and lies.
